Support BUGS — Female-Driven Horror Trilogy Launches Crowdfunding

Magic Dog Productions Presents A New Female-Driven Horror Film About Helplessness, Paranoia, And The Bugs Who Inspire Us To Scream.

BUGS is a psychological horror trilogy in the style of the 1975 horror film, Trilogy of Terror…three tales of the macabre, linked symbolically by our common fears. A babysitter with a clever and violent ward…a patient who mistrusts the doctor’s orders…a young woman haunted by a malevolent presence…and the terror that ties them all together: BUGS.

BUGS: A TRILOGY – Coming With YOUR Help From Magic Dog Productions

On their own, spiders, parasites, and bedbugs hold their own private horror for those who are beset by the quiet scuttles and slurps of inhuman creatures. But for Diane, Hannah, and Elena, three varied yet eerily similar women, these bugs represent the larger horrors of paranoia, helplessness, and abandonment.

The good folks at Magic Dog Productions strive to make women-positive films in realms where women have traditionally been excluded or marginalized, including comedy and horror. Their female power duo of director Simone Kisiel and screenwriter/actress Alexandra Grunberg have teamed together to create a horror trilogy that shows women can be scary too, and women can be the leads in horror films without taking their shirts off.

Do yourselves and indie horror a solid, Fellow Fans; click the link below to head on over to the Magic Dog Productions IndieGoGo page for BUGS, and help get this film made!  You’ll be supporting that which we all love, and can pick up some pretty nice perks in the bargain!

The Mouse...VP/co-owner of LC Films, Editor-In-Chief of your average guy with what is most likely an unhealthy affinity for horror movies, sci-fi, superheroes, bacon, old cartoons and horror movies. Oh, I almost forgot, I really dig horror movies; new ones, old ones, it matters not; I love 'em. Husband, father, veteran and scribbler. I like bacon as well. The Mouse abides 😉
