OMG… WE’RE IN A HORROR MOVIE!!! (2014): Review…Release The Kraken!!

OMG..We’re In A Horror Movie!!! – 2014

Six friends are hanging out playing board games when a voice-over can be heard — unbeknownst to them, they have been sucked into a horror movie! Which one of will become the killer, the hero, and the first to die? All this plays out in a fun and amusing way in Ajala Bandele’s OMG… WE’RE IN A HORROR MOVIE!!!

OMG is an extremely hilarious and fun horror-comedy. It has a feel to it like the classic Don Knotts and Tim Conway PRIVATE EYES, which is saying a lot since that is one of my favorite comedies EVER.

The cast is is CRAZY (in a good way), providing one of the funniest sex scenes ever with a lesbian (who’s having straight sex just to survive the cliche’s of a horror movie), and a vain, jock-type pretty-boy. Another stand-out moment in the film as a classic dialogue between Ajala Bandele and Chris Hampton trying to figure out which black actors have survived a horror film, realizing there fate within the “film”. There are many segments of the film that stand out like the above mentioned. Not only does it bring the fun and laughs but works as a horror film as you try and decide who the killer is throughout the film, and the reveal is just as hilarious as the rest of the film.

If you’re a fan of horror comedies as I am, this is certainly one to check out and enjoy with some beers, some weed, or while playing a board game with your friends!
