Mega Centarri the Animated Web Series

A Hero’s Journey

Mega Centarri is the millennia-spanning story of an immense, but very personal struggle against an evil and cunning foe in the star cluster named Mega Centarri. The story starts on Zederth, a planet on the outer edge of the Mega Centarri cluster.

Marketing: Think of Mega Centarri as the same genre of the Heavy Metal classic Fantasy Sci-Fi stories of the 70’s, with less erotica. Combined with the speed and action of popular Sci-Fi/Fantasy stories in the market place today; its eye-catching art work and fast moving drama, make it perfect, for the young-at-heart, teen to adult.

Mega Centarri is also a comic book project. The first episode of the MC comic book is already in progress and will be released independently in December.

We already have the infrastructure in place to produce the content, the funds we are raising are for production and production quality.

Thousands of years before our story begins, two star constellations Vaeltron and Centarri collided, forming one of the brightest clusters in the galaxy. With over 200 inhabited planets, full of diverse, though mostly humanoid life, the newly formed cluster would become the center of the Milky Way Galaxy.

While the cluster Centarri was brightly lit and teeming with life; Vaeltron’s suns were dying, and life was being sucked out of the humanoid inhabitants by a race of evil parasitic creatures who had infested their planets.

During the time of the collision, the Beasts of Geh, the creatures that had plagued Vaeltron, left the dying planets and infested the planets of Centarri. The spread of disharmony and misery their only goal; the Beasts of Geh overcame the people of Centarri before they were aware of what was happening to them.

For about 100 years, the Beasts ruled the newly formed Mega Centarri. They lived in underground cities to escape Centarri’s suns. From their dark underground world they created diseases, then sold the cures. They created a monetary system that enslaved the people. Sowing seeds of hate they started wars for which they were the sole suppliers of ammunition.

The Ci, a cult of Techno Mages mainly influenced by mathematics, music and astronomy sought ways to rid the cluster of this nightmare.

They eventually created Styn Wai an auviton weapon of immense power. Styn Wai was made from precious metals, wood, precious stones and crystals taken from each planet in the cluster. With this weapon they defeated the Beasts of Geh; and a golden age of magic and science began for Mega Centarri.

The Beasts of Geh were literally annihilated, except for one; their leader, the most powerful of the Beasts. He fled to the planet Zederth on the outermost rim of Mega Centarri where he lay hidden in a state of coma.

The Ci could not find the Beast’s hiding place on Zederth; so they exiled, quarantined, cut Zederth off from the rest of the cluster.

Zederth was so isolated that in just the space of a thousand years, the people forgot who they were. Their true history became folklore; eventually they even believed they were alone in the universe. The only thing that the rest of Mega Centarri knew of Zederth was its nickname, Kushka, meaning ‘the devil’s grave yard’, and that it was to be avoided.
