Gerard Lough’s First Feature NIGHT PEOPLE Set For 2015

Those Fellow Fans out there that read me regularly might have seen my reviews for the short films The Boogeyman and Deviant; both of these vignettes from across the Pond impressed me, and I’m glad to say that the filmmaker for those two projects, award-winning writer/director Gerard Lough, has completed his first feature film, Night People.  This Irish horror/science fiction film is due out next year, and I’m pleased to give you guys this first look at it with the teaser poster and trailer!

A pair of high tech thieves breaks into a house with a dark past.  Their story soon intertwines with two other sinister tall tales.

The film stars Michael Parle, Jack Dean Shepherd, Claire Blennerhassett, Sarah Louise Carney, Aidan O’Sullivan, and Eoin Leahy.  Principal photography began on August 1st, 2013 and ended on August 23rd, 2014.  The film was shot entirely on location in Ireland and will be released in 2015.

Lough is an Irish film-maker best known for critically acclaimed short films such as the previously mentioned Stephen King adaption The Boogeyman, Deviant, and the futuristic thriller, Ninety Seconds.  I was impressed with these short films, and look forward to seeing what he does with a feature-length film!

The Mouse...VP/co-owner of LC Films, Editor-In-Chief of LeglessCorpse.com...just your average guy with what is most likely an unhealthy affinity for horror movies, sci-fi, superheroes, bacon, old cartoons and horror movies. Oh, I almost forgot, I really dig horror movies; new ones, old ones, it matters not; I love 'em. Husband, father, veteran and scribbler. I like bacon as well. The Mouse abides 😉
