IN MEMORIAM: Farewell To BILLIE WHITELAW (1932 – 2014)

The world lost another glorious actress this year, with the passing of Billie Whitelaw on the 21st of December.  She was 82. Whitelaw has a huge body of work, on both stage and screen.  If there is any question as to her credibility as an actor, there are three humans she worked with that say…


She was the only one to survive the first horrific onslaught of the man known as “Leatherface” in 1974…two years later, on television, she gave the testimony that sent Charles Manson and his followers to prison for life…she braved a psychopath’s pet alligator, and in the early 1980s, even ran with a homicidal punk gang…
