In conjunction with Dead Silent Publishing and Silent Studios, LeglessCorpse Films is proud to present its newest production, the short horror film INFECTED.
After the accident, Rebecca discovers herself in a very different world than she remembers. Plagued by her patchy memory and self-doubt she fends for herself. She encounters Gary, who tells her a terrifying story of his escape from the local jail. Can Rebecca trust Gary? Can she cope with what she learns?
Can she survive in the world of the ‘Infected’?
Infected stars Rosie Pearson (Crying Wolf, Cute Little Buggers), a great actress from Australia currently making her splash in the horror genre, and Darren Kent, an established actor and director who has made a name for himself through directing his new film Abusing Protocol and starring in the amazing Game of Thrones.
The film was written by Jeremy Hellion and directed by Jason Wright. Kirsty Richardson is the assistant director and producer, with Chad Armstrong and Andrew Thompson of LeglessCorpse Films serving as associate producers.
Infected just kicked off it’s Indiegogo campaign to raise money for festival funding; a lot of people, businesses, and local community services have made it possible for us to have the finished film ready to go, but after such a costly production and post production we want to get the film seen! Why spend our time and money shooting a film and not have the joy of an audience?! We are now looking to take it to every horror film festival on the planet. Most festivals, of course, require an entry fee; add in high costs to ship materials internationally, and you’re talking about a nice chunk o’ change.
We need YOUR help to raise these funds! Take a look at the campaign page and help get this film seen! There’s even some nice perks for contributors, so what are you waiting for?
