The Last Halloween by Abby Howard

Beloved Strip Search contestant, Abby Howard, has been giving The Last Halloween her all since the season finale. Her ongoing Graphic Novel is about a young girl, Mona, who finds herself to be humanity’s unwilling hero after monsters break through the shadows one particularly noteworthy Hallow’s Eve. Abby’s dynamic gruesome illustrations are a great contrast to her dry sense of humor and imaginative plot. She uses stark black and white but skilled linework to beautifully convey these nightmarish creatures while she manages to so confidently work out the broken anatomy of each horror that in all rights should never really exist. In addition to the Stygian mess she has written the world into, each new update also features Abby’s personal brand of humor, which is absolutely charming to say the least. Right now The Last Halloween is in Chapter 4 and updates every Wednesday.
