The world lost another glorious actress this year, with the passing of Billie Whitelaw on the 21st of December. She was 82.
Whitelaw has a huge body of work, on both stage and screen. If there is any question as to her credibility as an actor, there are three humans she worked with that say it all: Samuel Beckett, Jim Henson and Alfred Hitchcock.
For those of us that are champions of Horror films, she will forever be remembered for her chilling performance as Mrs. Baylock in Richard Donner’s excellent piece, The Omen.
I do believe I will set aside some time later and watch her get cozy with pure evil!
It is recommended that you folks do the same!
