We here at the ‘Corpse, being the fans of indie horror that we are, would like to draw your attention to Genoma Cannibale (The Short), a short film about nine and a half minutes long, written and directed by Paolo Giacometti and produced by Safety First Films/Paige Media.
Genoma Cannibale (The Short) is an action/horror short movie, whose protagonist is a young female researcher that works in an secret lab and finds all her coworkers dead in a cruel carnage.
Paolo Giacometti , the director, author and editor of the opera, gave birth to Genoma Cannibale (The Short) thanks to his endless passion for movies and in particular for our favorite genre, horror. The film hits all the bases for the medium: suspense, blood, creepy monster, and a sexy female heroine.
The talented cast and crew of young professionals came through with a product of high impact, even having an original soundtrack produced by a Paige’s own music label.
We’re honored by Safety First Films and Paige Media with their letting us show you their short in its entirety — check it out!
These guys aren’t stopping there, however; Genoma Cannibale is an ambitious project, and that’s where you lovely Fellow Fans come in! These folks are planning on taking what you see here and going nuts with it in a feature-length extravaganza!
As I said, their goal is to develop, extend and further eviscerate the issues covered in Genoma Cannibale (The Short), adding more special effects, more plot twists — just MORE! Most of all, they plan on answering the big question — who, or WHAT, are those creatures?
Show ’em some indie horror love and contribute!
